Vigilance books CAPD official in disproportionate assets case

JAMMU, Dec 31: In a disproportionate assets case, the Vigilance Organization, Jammu has booked Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, then Storekeeper Chassana, now Sr Assistant in the office of Assistant Director, CA&PD (Trade and Stores) Jammu.
A case FIR number 35/2014 under Section 5(1) (e), read with Section 5 (2) J&K PC Act Svt 2006, has been registered at Vigilance Organization Jammu, against Ghulam Mohd Malik of Gulabgarh, Reasi, at present Sector Number 2 H No 19, Pamposh Colony, Channi Rama, Jammu.
Following allegations of having accumulated huge movable and immovable assets, disproportionate to his known legal sources of income, the Vigilance sleuths conducted searches in house of the accused at Pamposh Colony Channi Rama, Jammu and seized some incriminating documents for further investigation.
