JAMMU, Jan 1: The dead body of a Kolkata resident was found today from Sialdah Express at Railway Station, Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, a male dead body was found from the bathroom of S-10 coach of Sialdah Express which reached Jammu at about 8.30 in the morning. The dead body was spotted by the CNW staff of railway, who informed the police. The deceased has been identified as Anand Aggarwal (40-45) son of Shanker Lal, a resident of Hawra in Kolkata. He was going to pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra.
On getting information, a police team from police station GRP reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem. A case in this regard has been registered at police station, GRP and further investigations are on.
The exact reason behind the death will be known after the report of post mortem, police said , adding prima facie it appears that the man died due to cardiac arrest.
