2 soldiers charred to death, as many injured in wild fire on LoC

Two Army personnel were charred to death and two others security personnel received serious burn injuries in a wild fire on Line of Control (LoC) at Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir.
A Border security force (BSF) spokesman told UNI that blaze broke out in the forest on other side of the LoC in Tanghdar sector.
The flames later spread to this side of the forest, he said and added that a group of Army and BSF personnel went to control the balze.
However, four of them found themselves in the middle of the flames as fire damaged other trees.    Three Army personnel and a BSF jawan were critically injured in the fire, he said and added the injured were shifted to hospital.
Two army jawans later succumbed while an army jawan and a BSF personnel were still critical.
