Jammu, Jan 4: While touring the different areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency, BJP State general secretary & MLA Kavinder Gupta took stock of the ground reality and the problems being faced by the common man. He held public darbars at Jogi Mohalla, Shiv Nagar, Giddar Galiyan, Darap Kothe, Khawaskhan and interacted with senior citizens, women and youth of the area.
Gupta, while interacting with the locals came to know about the miserable conditions of the locals and step motherly behaviour of the previous regime. Locals apprised him about their problems such as BPL ration cards, Old age & Widow pension, poor conditions of roads & health infrastructure. Youth also put forward their demands and demanded the upgradation of educational institutions and providing them sports facility.
Gupta, while listening to the demands said that it is very painful for him to know that the last 12 years of Congress rule in the State has made the local people suffer a lot and assured them that the days of mis-governance and corruption are over and now onwards people will not have to suffer and there is no need to run after anybody for these pitty issues as these are their basic rights and it is the duty of their representatives to get these works done. He promised that all these facilities will be provided to them without any delay. He said, accountability is the primary motto of BJP Government and it is going to provide just and fair Government.
He also said that he will be available 24×7 and will work day and night for the development of Gandhi Nagar constituency. Baldev Singh Billoria, Jaideep Sharma, Vikram Randhawa, , Vinay Gupta , Er.Ashwani Khosla, Ch. Harbans Singh, Kulwant Singh Bhatti, Satpal Choudhary, Ludramani accompanied Kavinder Gupta.
