Justice Yaqoob Mir, seniormost Judge of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, was today appointed the Chief Justice of J&K High Court, an official statement said here.
Justice Mir replaces Justice Mahesh Mittal Kumar, who has retired.
The appointment was made by President Pranab Mukherjee under Section 100 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir. (AGENCIES)
