POONCH, Jan 5: While total 36 passengers crossed sides at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point in Poonch, not even a single J&K resident crossed over to that side in today’s bus.
Official sources said that total 22 passengers crossed over to that side while 14 arrived here from PoK side. Out of the total, 22 PoK residents returned to their homes on that side while not even a single J&K resident boarded the PoK bound bus from Poonch today.
A total 14 persons arrived here from the PoK side today. They included 11 PoK residents and three Indian returnees. Due to non-clearance of files of Indians by the Pak authorities, the number of passengers from this side has reduced to almost nil.
