KATHUA, Jan 5: Police today arrested a driver of JCB vehicle along with sharp edged weapon near Deoli village, falling under the jurisdiction of Billawar police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Billawar police station led by SHO Naresh Sharma laid a naka near Deoli village and intercepted a JCB vehicle.
During checking, police recovered sharp edged weapon and arrested the driver of the JCB vehicle, who has been identified as Anil Kumar alias Sonu, son of Buta Ram, a resident of Badhawa, district Pathankote.
A case under FIR number 3/15 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at police station Billawar and investigation started.
