JAMMU, Jan 6: The State Government has accorded sanction to the constitution of governing body for the State AYUSH Society.
The Society, headed by Chief Secretary as the chairperson, shall provide AYUSH system overview, review of AYUSH policy and programme implementation, inter-sectoral coordination and approval of State Annual Action Plan.
Administrative Secretary Health and Medical Education is the member secretary of this Society while its other members include Administrative Secretaries of Finance Department, Forest, Horticulture, Director General ISM J&K, Mission Director NHM, Chief Executive Officer of State Medicinal Plants Board and Controller Drugs & Food Licensing Authority.
