Property worth lakhs destroyed, 4 animals charred to death in Kashmir

SRINAGAR :  Property worth lakhs of rupees have been destroyed and four animals were roasted alive in different fire incidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today.
In first incident, a fire was broke out at a house at Jebat Branwar, Chadoora, in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
However, before the fire tenders could reach fire spread to a nearby cow shed resulting in deth of a horse, a bull and two cows. The house and cow shed were also completely reduced to ashes, sources said adding the cause of fire was being ascertained.
In another case a shop and other goods at Kund in Kulgam were destroyed, sources said adding a cowshed was also destroyed in a fire incident at Drugmulla in Kupwara.    However, no one was injured.
Two firewood sheds at Sulkote at Kupwara while two storied shop was partially damaged due to fire at Warnow  Lalpora.
Fire also completely damaged a residential house at Herpora Shopian in south Kashmir.
No one was injured, sources said adding the cause of fire was being ascertained.
