JAMMU, Jan 8: Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu, S C Katal today rejected the bail application of Pardeep Kumar Sapolia, Chief of Reservation Railways, who was arrested by RS Pura Police in alleged kidnapping case.
“The applicant happens to be first cousin of the victim and the police is investigating the case that she has been adducted for illegal purpose. There are also allegations that accused being close relative of the victim was having access to the victim who has misused the liberty and trust of the family”, the court said.
“There is great impact of alleged act upon the public at large and such act has potential to disrupt the entire fabric of the society”, the court said while rejecting the bail application.
