JAMMU, Jan 10: Kashmiri Pandit Democratic Front (KPDF) in its meeting here today held under the presidentship of A K Koul constituted a new body on the expiry of his term.
The meeting elected M K Yogi as new president and Ravi Kachroo as general secretary. The other members elected included Shuban Ji Raina, A K Bhat, Ravi Ji Koul, Roop Krishan Bhat and Sanjay Raina.
The meting discussed various issues concerning the community which included the status of the organization and problems of the KPs vis -a -vis Central policy.
Later, Mr Koul administered oath to newly elected members. In his address Mr Yogi complimented the members and assured to work for the betterment of the organization and welfare of the community.
The vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary Ravi Kachroo. The others who attended the meeting included B N Koul, R L Bhat, Pushkar Nath, T N Dhar, H L Raina, Roop Krishan Bhat, Chand Ji Bhat, Ramesh Ji Bhat, D N Tickoo, Anil Mattoo, Suraj Krishan and Krishan Ji Koul.
