Cell phones and students

Sir,
“A cell phone is now a days considered as a status symbol. Any person who is not having a phone or not having an android phone becomes a laughing stock  between its peers .No doubt that a phone has become a part and parcel of our life but we cannot afford neglecting the other side of the coin.Students are making an overuse of cell phone .Many parents are giving phones to their  kids which may prove harmful  for them in the long run. Phones have a harmful effect on their brain and eyes .
Children are using phones in schools disturbing  the school activities  and in buses they are busy gossiping. Even students are found  using phones while driving their scooties and bikes which sometimes has proved fatal.  Parents are also   responsible for they may or may not be knowing the harmful effects of cell phones. In most of the books, it is written that phones should  completely  be avoided for  children below 14 years of age .
These phones can divert the attention of students and the radiations of phone can damage  their growing brain. To tell about the harmful effects of phones will be a beggar’s  description.
I would  like to  request to the parents not to give phones to their kids so that they have not to cut a sorry figure in the coming time. Let’s take oath to make books our hobby and avoid using phones.”
Yours etc…..
