SAMBA, Jan 11: Vijaypur police has arrested one youth for threatening a shopkeeper with an air gun and registered a case against him.
According to SHO Vijaypur, Ajay Singh one youth Sahil Singh Salathia S/o Jaipal Singh of Gurah Salathia went to the shop of Ajay Kumar Sharma at Vijaypur to purchase some clothes on credit but the shopkeeper refused to give credit to him.
SHO said this infuriated the customer who took out his air gun and tried to threaten the shopkeeper. The adjoining shopkeepers and people overpowered Salathia and soon police swung into action arrested him and also seized the weapon. A case under Section 383/511 was registered against him.
