JAMMU, Jan 11: The dead body of an unidentified man was today recovered from Bus Stand area of Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, a dead body of an unidentified man (aged about 45-48) appearing to be a non-local was spotted by some passersby lying on the ground at Nark Basti falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bus Stand.
On getting information, a police team reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bus Stand police station, where police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPc.
