Ashwani to continue work for people of his constituency

BISHNAH, Jan 11:  Senior BJP leader and former MLA, Ashwani Sharma said that he will continue working for the welfare of people of Bishnah.
Addressing a public gathering here today, Sharma said that he will not let down more than 26,000 people of his constituency at any point of time and will work for their betterment.
Ashwani Sharma had contested on BJP mandate from Bishnah seat in Assembly elections and was first runner up by getting 26394 votes.
The two-time MLA expressed his gratitude to people of Bishnah for voting in favour of him in huge number. “Winning or losing is a part of politics but I have taken a mission forward to uplift the downtrodden people of my constituency and continue the development works which were started in past 12 years’’, Sharma added.
He said “we have a commitment with people to make Bishnah a model constituency of the State and its foundation was laid when I for the first time got elected in 2002 from here,. This tree is growing and will continue to flourish in upcoming days’’, he added.
He said facilities have been provided to people of Bishnah at par with people of Jammu city. New schools have been opened, new administrative units were established, healthcare facilities have improved, road connectivity has seen tremendous improvement and all areas have been provided focused attention, the former MLA said.
“During my 12-year tenure as MLA Bishnah, I raised strong pro-Jammu voice in the Assembly and fought for the cause of people of Jammu., I raised voice against discrimination with Jammu by Kashmiri leadership and never compromised on their  principles’’, he added.
Sharma said that being a true soldier of party, he will continue to work for strengthening BJP’s base in the State in general and Bishnah in particular. The party has got the mandate to represent the aspiration of people of Jammu and we will never let the people down. Jammu will get its due share and Kashmiri leadership will not be allowed to exploit Jammu region, he added.
