JAMMU, Jan 16: An unidentified body was recovered today from a canal in Trikuta Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of an unidentified youth aged about 25-26 years was spotted by some locals in a canal near ‘Channi Puli’ in Trikuta Nagar area.
On getting information from locals, a police team from police station Trikuta Nagar led by Inspector Naveen Angral reached the spot, evicted the body from canal and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Trikuta Nagar and further investigations are on.
