JAMMU, Jan 17: Special Excise Magistrate Amarjeet Singh Langeh today rejected the bail application of alleged fraudster namely Vikram Malhotra.
According to the police case, the complainant namely Vijay Singh obtained insurance policy of Reliance Company and deposited a premium of Rs 50,000 per year from the year 2008 and then he approached Branch Manager of Reliance Company for release of amount of Rs 1.50 lakh along with interest of the three years.
However, he was astonished to know that his deposited money was released in favour of another person namely Vikram Malhotra, who impersonated the complainant.
While rejecting the bail, court observed that the accused was involved in heinous offence the investigation of which was at initial stage.
