SAMBA, Jan 19: As a part of drive against drugs, a huge quantity of intoxicant capsules and banned syrup bottles were seized from Sampark Kranti train at Railway Station here.
According to police spokesman, a huge consignment of drugs comprising of 200 banned syrup bottles and 1440 capsules were seized from Samparak Kranti train, which was on way towards Jammu. However, no person was arrested in this connection.
The jawans who made efforts during the said recovery were suitably rewarded by SP Railways Jammu Suram Singh.
A case under FIR number 2/15 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered in this regard and investigation started.
