Srinagar, Jan 19: An Air defence soldier allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope inside a barrack at Srinagar airport.
Arjun Kamble, 37, of 49 AD Regiment unit hanged himself inside the camp at Airport. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead, sources said.
Police have registered a case under 174 CrPc and started further investigations in this regard.
Naik Arjun, hailed from Village Aigali area of Athani in Belgam district of Karnataka.
