KATRA, Jan 21: Police today arrested two bootleggers and seized 50 pouches of illicit liquor, which was being smuggled by the accused in a Tata Sumo.
The vehicle, bearing registration number JK20-3932, was intercepted by Police at Serli Check Post.
The accused were identified as Sham Lal of Dadore near Katra and Pawan Kumar of Bhagota near Katra. They were smuggling the liquor for its illegal sale in Katra.
Police has arrested the accused and also seized the vehicle besides registering a case in this connection.
