MENDHAR, Jan 21: Three persons were injured when a Swift car skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Bhimber Gali on Jammu-Poonch highway late this evening.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place at around 8 pm when the ill-fated car was on way to Poonch from Jammu. It was raining and the speeding vehicle went out of control due to slip and landed into a gorge. The villagers of the area and army personnel rushed to the spot and they removed the injured to Dhar Galoon Primary Health Centre.
The injured were identified as Mohinder Singh, son of Balwant Singh, Karan Singh, son of Vakil Singh and Anil Kumar, son of Ashok Singh, all residents of Qasba, Poonch. Condition of Anil is said to be serious and he has been referred to Rajouri hospital.
