JAMMU, Jan 21: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retired Employees Association has urged upon the State Government to issue necessary directions to the SRTC management to clear pending arrears of the VRS given SRTC workers.
While staging their protest dharna near Press Club here today, the members of the body alleged that 126 slabs of COLA and arrears of 6th Pay Commissioner of the workers are still unpaid. They said that the workers are agitating for the last over five years but their arrears are not being cleared by the SRTC management. They sought the intervention of Governor N N Vohra in this regard. Dev Raj Bali and Balwinder Singh were leading the protest dharna.
