JAMMU, Jan 21: An ex-serviceman was murdered by his neighbour over a tiff in Muthi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, Krishan Chand (ex-serviceman), son of Anant Ram, a resident of Muthi had some tiff with his neighbour identified as Romesh Chand, son of Daya Ram.
In a fit of rage, Romesh attacked Krishan Chand with sharp edged weapon (tokka), leading to the death of the latter.
On getting information, police team from Domana police station rushed to the spot and shifted the deceased to mortuary of GMCH, where postmortem will be conducted tomorrow.
The accused has also been arrested by the police team led by SHO Domana Inspector Mohammad Qasim under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar, SP Rural Rajiv Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
