JAMMU, Jan 21: A bus carrying marriage party turned turtle near MA Stadium area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
As per police sources, a bus (JKO2N-8471) carrying marriage party from Arnia to Sarode, Akalpur turned turtle near MA Stadium, causing injuries to around dozen persons.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Ajit Singh, Aryan, Rajinder Singh and Sharda Devi. The identity of other injured persons could not be ascertained yet.
A case in this regard has been registered at Nowabad police station and investigation started.
