REASI, Jan 22: Two shops near the District Hospital Reasi were burgled by thieves, who decamped with cash and other items, last night.
Reports said that thieves struck in Ashok Kumar Anand’s shop of decorated garlands of currency notes opposite the hospital. They burgled garlands worth Rs 8o thousand and Rs 36 thousand in cash.
In a similar theft at Sharma Medical Hall near the hospital, thieves decamped with cash some cash, kept in the box there and some other items.
Two incidents of theft have exposed the Police claims of intensified vigil ahead of Republic Day.
