RAJOURI, Jan 25: At least ten persons were injured after a mini-bus over turned on Rajouri-Thannamandi road this afternoon.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when ill-fated mini-bus bearing registration No. JK02D/0805 was on way to Thannamandi from Rajouri. When the vehicle reached at Nero Jal village, about 8 kms ahead of Rajouri, it went out of control and over turned on the road side. About ten persons were injured in the mishap and were removed to District Hospital, Rajouri by police and locals of the area.
The driver of the vehicle, however, managed to escape from the spot and police registered a case in this connection. Negligence on the part of driver is stated to be the reason behind the mishap.
