This has reference to the write up ‘Netaji Bose and freedom struggle’ DE Jan 28.
Netaji Subash Chandra Bose is a national icon. He deserves all respect and honour which other leaders of his calibre receive from time to time. Paying homage to him on his birth and death anniversaries should be done in a befitting manner.
It should not be a formality. The writer of the write up has brought to fore a glaring fact regarding naming of Andaman and Nicobar islands and it should be taken into account by the concerned authorities.
The nation cannot afford to forget its war heroes who have made supreme sacrifices for protecting sovereignty of the nation. Let us all salute these heroes.
