Poonch, Jan 29: With a view to revive the party after the recent polls, MLC Dr Shehnaz Ganai today, held a party workers convention at Mandi in which block presidents and party workers took part.
Dr Shehnaz Ganai, said that National Conference (NC) is not a mere political party, but a movement with well-defined political agenda for a modern and model State. She said that the workers of NC are epitome of sacrifice and selfless service who have withstood all challenges and proven their loyalty towards people, party and its leadership.
National Conference represents aspirations of common people and its selfless service to public has always been above any consideration of creed, caste, colour, region or religion, she said.
Party makes Government and Governments do not build parties, said Dr Ganai and stressed on the rank and file of party to strengthen the party across Pir Panchal range and shatter the designs of their detractors by exhibiting unity and working for the upliftment of people tirelessly.
