TIRUCHIRAPPALLI, Jan 31: Hiring of management graduates from reputed institutes seems to be on the upswing again with the Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM) stating that leading corporates have picked up 130 of its final year MBA students during the placement session with an average salary of Rs nine lakh per annum.
More than 30 companies from a wide range of sectors, including FMCG and IT, participated in the session and rolled out offers to the students who will graduate this year, a top BIM official said.
“We are elated that some of the leading and renowned corporates across the country have visited the campus and offered very exciting pay packages to our students,” BIM Director S Karuthiah Pandian told PTI.
He said this year saw a record number of corporates at the BIM campus here with the average salary being pegged at around Rs. Nine lakhs per annum. (PTI)
