KATHUA, Jan 31: Police today seized two trucks carrying 17 bovine animals near Palli Morh on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway.
A police spokesman said that, police team from Kathua police station laid a naka and intercepted two trucks bearing registration number JK02J-4071 and JK02AL-2195 coming from Punjab to J&K near Palli Morh on Jammu-Pathankote National Highway.
On seeing police party, drivers managed to escape from the spot leaving behind the vehicles. During checking of the vehicles, police rescued 17 bovines’ animals.
