JAMMU, Feb 1: In order to listen to the grievances of the people of Ward Number 28, a public meeting was organized in Gurha Morh area. BJP MLA from Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) toured the area and himself witnessed the ground situation of the area.
Sharma pledged to start new developmental works in the area and other parts of the Constituency which mainly included the problem of water supply, electricity supply and basic necessities in the wards of the Constituency. Many local residents of the area met the MLA and apprised him of the problems being faced by them in their Ward.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma (CA) said that the area needs a proper modification and many new developmental works are waiting to be started in the area. He said that the residents are concerned about many developmental works in the area and the same will be started once the formation of a new Government takes place in the State. He stated that the concerned departments of the Government should also tour the area themselves and must look into the grievances of the public seriously and should immediately take action on it.
He also stated that people have entrusted upon BJP in the recent Assembly polls and now it is our duty to perform at our best and serve each and every resident of the Constituency without any partiality.
The BJP MLA also focused upon many other problems in the area which needed to be resolved including Street lights and maintenance of lanes and drains in the area.
