10 bovine animals rescued

JAMMU, Feb 3:   Foiling an attempt of bovine smuggling, Udhampur Police has rescued ten animals and arrested two smugglers.
Police has also seized the truck, JK18-2098, in which the bovine animals were being smuggled by the accused to Kashmir valley. The truck was intercepted by a Police team, led by SHO Udhampur Mahesh Sharma, during a naka at Jakheni, late last night.
The arrested smugglers were identified as Mudasar Ahmad and Dilawar Beig of Kulgam.
A case has been registered in this connection at Udhampur Police Station.
