SAMBA, Feb 5: The Deputy Commissioner Samba Sheetal Nanda today chaired a meeting of officers of Revenue Department and officers of Natural Gas Pipe Line Project convened to review the present status of the Gas Pipe Line project in the district.
The meeting was attended by the Advisor, Gas Pipe Line Project J&K Abdul Hamid, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Samba Sonu Pargal, SDM Vijaypur and Ghagwal, all Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and officers and officials of Gas Pipe Line Project.
While speaking on the occasion, the DDC impressed upon the officers to co-ordinate with staff of the Gas Pipe line project and instructed the revenue officers to provide every possible co-operation with project authorities enabling them to expedite and complete the work.
Earlier, advisor of the project briefed about different aspects of the project and discussed different issues. He said Notification for 36 villages under Section 3(1) has so far been completed and only three villages are left in the district.
