JAMMU, Feb 5: For second consecutive day today, Pakistani Rangers resorted to firing on forward area of Abdullian in RS Pura sector targeting the BSF posts but there was no report of any casualties or damage. Like yesterday, the BSF didn’t retaliate.
Reports said the Rangers opened small arms firing in Abdullian area of RS Pura sector at 10.30 am today targeting forward BSF posts and the BSF jawans patrolling and working in the area.
The BSF didn’t retaliate, reports said, adding the Rangers stopped firing after about half an hour. There was no shelling and the Rangers used semi automatic weapons to target forward BSF posts at village Abdullian in RS Pura sector.
However, there were no casualties or damage on the Indian side in Pakistani firing.
Yesterday also, Pakistan had resorted to firing at Khora in Samba sector and Nawa Pind and Abdullian in RS Pura sector, violating ceasefire twice. The BSF hadn’t retaliated.
