JAMMU, Feb 6: The Director School Education Jammu, has directed all Chief Education Officers to immediately adjust the surplus teaching staff against the available vacancies in their respective district.
An order in this regard was issued today by the Director Simrandeep Singh, who has sought a compliance report on the same in two days.
According to the order number DSEJ/NG/M/24824-34, dated 06-02-2015, the Chief Education Officers have also been directed to ensure that no teacher is attached in any office.
Pertinent to mention that following recent Government order on cancellation of all attachments/ deployments of teaching cadre, some detached teachers had just reported back to the concerned CEO office but did not join the original place of posting while a few others were awaiting adjustment with the resultant affect on studies of the students in Government schools.
