Srinagar, Feb 7: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum today met the new Director School Education Kashmir and apprised him about the pending issues of teachers.
Led by its Provincial President Mohammad Afzal Bhat, the Forum while welcoming the Director, Showkat Ahmad Baig, to the office, informed him about issues like filling of vacant posts, inclusion of five year service of Rehber-e-Taleem teachers, time-bound promotion of the employees, implementing the decisions of the recent DPC, making available books to students on time in the new session, besides other demands.
Bhat said that the Director was also informed about the filling of vacant posts of Principals, ZEOs and posting of teachers who have returned from Kargil.
He said that the Director keenly heard the issues of the Forum and assured to address them soon.
The Forum promised the new Director that they will cooperate with him in the upliftment and smooth running of the whole education system in the Kashmir region.
