MENDHAR, Feb 7: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Mendhar today placed six employees of Health Department under suspension for being absent from duty.
An official spokesman said that SDM Mendhar, Romesh Kumar today paid surprise visit to Primary Health Centre, Chhatral and found three employees unauthorisedly absent from duty. They included Tarlochan Kour, Sirat Khaliq-both FMPHW and Mohd Yousuf- Block Health Worker.
The SDM then paid visit to Health Sub-centre Bhati Dhar and found three employees absent. They included Shamim Akhtar -FMPHW, Mohd Taj Nursing Orderly and Safai Karamchari-Mohd Aslam. The SDM placed all the six employees under suspension and forwarded the report to CMO, Poonch and Director Health Services, Jammu.
