JAMMU, July 31: Accounts Officer, district court, Jammu, Wazir Ahmed Tak was given a warm send off on his retirement by the judges, lawyers and staff members of various sub-ordinate courts, here today.
Tak reached his superannuation after serving the Judicial Department for forty long years during which he has served in various courts across the State on various positions.
His last posting was as Accounts Officer, principal District and Sessions Court, Jammu, prior to which he served on the same post in the court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar.
A farewell function was organised by the staff members of the sub-judiciary including judges to accord warm send off to Tak.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, recalled the services of Tak in the department and urged the staff members to take him as a role model of dedication and honesty. He said that such officers never retire from service but are always there to serve the people and help the officers in the department, whenever required.
On the behalf of entire judiciary of the district, Jamwal wished Tak best of luck for his retired life.
