KATHUA, Feb 9: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Dr. Shahid Iqbal today released Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority Calendar for the year 2015 in a function held here.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development authority, while speaking on the occasion said that LSDA has come up with its Annual calendar which depicts the beautiful & picturesque places of the district like Dhaggar, Sarthal, Bani, Chattergala, Basohli, Naan Gala, Sukrala & Dream Land Park and Ranjit Sagar Lake.
A sincere effort has been made to aware more and more tourists about the beautiful places falling in the jurisdiction of Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority so that the tourist inflow to the district is increased, he added.
Dr. Shahid Iqbal said that Kathua district has rich tourism potential which needs to be harnessed. He appreciated the good work being done by Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority and hoped that the concerned officers will work with even more zeal and enthusiasm to open touristic places of the district to the tourists and adventure lovers so that employment avenues for local youth are made available .
