A recent order issued by Commissioner Secretary School Education for detachment of teachers and masters is a good and positive step for rural and poor students. These poor students are not in a position to express their resentment against deployment of teachers. So it is the duty of the politicians and administration to ensure that no teacher or master posted in rural and far flung Govt schools is attached to urban schools for their comfort. It was quite strange that Teacher forums like JKTF for fulfilling their own selfishness demanded cancellation of detachment order and are least bothered about poor village students. They manage their attachments by paying heavy bribes to politicians and to administrative officials leaving poor students at the mercy of God. It is surprising that many Rehbar -e-Taleem teachers are still not relived by their concerned Chief Education Officers and they are still working at their attached places. So it is the duty of Commissioner Secretary to take appropriate action against all those CEOs who have not followed the directions. It is requested to new coming Education Minister that attachment should be banned and specially of ReT Teachers as their engagement is school specific.
