Six injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Feb 10: Six persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, three bike-borne youths were injured when a car hit their bike at Sidhra area of city outskirts. The injured youths have been identified as Ravinder Kumar (21) son of Chaman Lal, a resident of RS Pura, Vipin Kumar (23) son of Bua Ditta and Narayan Sharma (35) son of Sain Dass Sharma of Bari Brahmana.
A bike-borne man namely Ghulam Hussain (45) son of Sheikh Mohd, was also injured when his two-wheeler collided with a car in Bagh-e-Bahu area.
At Narwal area, a water tanker hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Hussain Ahmed (40) son of Jalal Ahmed, a resident of Malik Market (Narwal).
A 23-year old youth also suffered injuries when the bike he was riding on, got slipped at fly-over opposite Super Specialty Hospital Jammu. The injured youth was identified as Atul son of Roshan Lal of Nanak Nagar.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
