Low paid employees hold protest

DODA, Feb 10: Low paid employees today held a protest under the banner of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) and under the presidentship of Niaz Ahmed Rahi at old bus stand here and urged the State administration to fulfill their long pending demands.
Addressing the protestors, senior leader of the association, Ghulam Hassan Pampori demanded release of 17 % DA installments in favour of State Government employees, removal of pay anomalies in favour of clerks, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 1000 and regularization of all daily wagers, need based and anganwadi workers.
Shakeel Ahmed, Ghulam Rosool, Rumal Singh, Gopal Singh Hablal and many others spoke on the occasion.
