DODA, Feb 10: 76 BN CRPF organized a free medical camp for local population at Government Primary school at village Bimina, district Doda.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of Vikram Singh Thakur, Commandant 76 BN CRPF Vishal Vig Deputy Commandant and Jaswinder Singh Assistant Commandant were also present during the camp.
Dr Supinder Singh, Medical Officer of 76 BN along with his team Harinder Bhardwaj and Bhupal Singh examined different types of patients and provided free medical treatment medicines and advice to them.
Large number of patients especially elderly and women along with their children were examined. Total number of 627 patients including men, women and children took benefit of this camp. A lady Doctor, Dr Irfana Gundroo and Eye Technician Ashok Kumar Manhas were also made available during the medical camp. The aim of the medical camp was to reach out to the local population and spread awareness about basic cleanliness and health care issues to enable people of village Bimina to lead a more healthy life.
