JAMMU, Feb 11: All transporters of Jammu in a general body meeting at Ware House here today re-elected STS Wazir as chairman of All J&K Transport Welfare Association (AJKTWA).
The meeting while welcoming Mr Wazir in office said the decision was taken for the welfare of the transporters of the State. The meeting, which was also attended by the members of Passenger Union from both Jammu and Kashmir provinces elected Haji Bashir Ahmed Matha as senior vice chairman of the Association while Bharat Bushan Gupta was elected as vice chairman.
General secretary of the Association, Mohammed Yousf, Ajaz Ahmed Wani of New Kashmir Transport Company Srinagar, Mohammed Rajav Beig, general secretary, Passenger Mini Bus Union Kashmir, S Dilip Singh, secretary, Western Bus Service Kashmir, Ali Mohammed Administrator, KMD Srinagar, D K Choudhary, president Taxi Operators Union, Railway Station and Inderjit Sharma president STTA Jammu attended the meeting.
Besides them Anil Chopra, chairman MBWU, S Mohinder Singh 2×2, Poonch Rajouri Bus Union, S Kuldeep Singh, president Kathua Bus Union, S Sukhvir Singh, president R S Pura Bus Union, B B Sharma, president Chammb Bus Union, S Pritam Singh, president Banihal Bus Union, S K D Singh, president 2×2 Kathua-Udhampur Bus Union, Vijay Singh Chib, president Matador Union, R P Kohli, vice chairman Poonch Group, Sunil Puri, vice president Poonch Bus Union, Shanti Saroop Gupta, president Auto Union and S Jawa Singh, president Taxi Union were also president in the meeting.
