JAMMU, Feb 11: A delegation of displaced Pandits from village Hanand Chawalgam in South Kashmir district of Kulgam called on newly elected MP (Rajya Sabha) Nazir Ahmed Laway and discussed various problems of the displaced people with him.
As per a release, the delegation was led by Chuni Lal Kaul. It, while complimenting PDP patron and former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayed for giving mandate to Mr Laway for R S seat expressed the hope that the MP will highlight the problems of displaced people in Parliament and also use his good offices in settling the long pending demands of the displaced people including passage of Shrines and Temples Bill, enhancement of cash relief, implementation of PM’s employment package in letter and spirit etc.
