JAMMU, Feb 12: In mysterious circumstances, the dead body of a man was recovered from Nagrota area, this morning.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of an about 50 years old man identified as Govind Singh, son of Banarsi Singh, a resident of migrant camp, Jagti, was spotted by some locals at Karli Morh near forest check post, who informed the Nagrota police.
He said that the police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to Primary Health Centre, Dansal, where after conducting the post mortem the body was handed over to its legal heirs.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at police station Nagrota and further investigation started.
