POONCH, Feb 15: The police today booked three boys for raping a minor girl of minority community in Poonch here last night.
A police spokesman said that late last night father of Sukhpreet Kour (name changed) lodged a complaint at Poonch Police Station, alleging that some boys abducted his minor girl and committed rape on her. On the basis of complain, the police booked Mohd Irfan, son of Mohd Yasin, Mohd Talla, son of Mohd Yasin, both residents of Mohalla Kama Khan, Poonch and Mudassir, resident of Poonch for committing rape on a minor girl.
The police has registered FIR No 33/ 2015, U/S 376 RPC at Police Station Poonch and raided various places to arrest the culprits. However, police managed to nab one of the culprits when he tried to flee from the spot.
A senior Police officer confirmed that they have registered a case in this connection. He said on the request of parents of the girl a case has been registered. He also claimed to have arrested one of the accused persons.
