RAMBAN, Feb 15: Ekal Vidyalay Foundation of India, Ramban organized annual meet of Ekal Vidyalaya Abhiyan at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School here.
The function was presided over by Dr Mohan Lal Sharma, Zila Sangchalak of RSS, whileas Gurdev Kumar, Asstt Director Horticulture was the chief guest and Ved Bhushan Gupta, president, Beopar Mandal was the guest of honour.
The function was attended by a large number of well wishers and donors of Ekal Vidyalaya Abhiyan.
Pardeep Singh, Principal, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir delivered the welcome address. Rajinder Singh Katoch, Head, Anchal Abhiyan Parmukh Ramban read annual report of the Abhiyan.
The statement about the future programme and targets was delivered by Kuldeep Raj, Bhag Parmukh. He added that the preference will be given for overall development of villages by providing primary education, health education, gram vikas and Swabhimaan Jagran Education.
The cultural programme was presented by the children of Ekal Vidyalaya, Ramban district.
In his presidential address, Dr Mohan Lal Sharma highlighted the role of Ekal Vidyalaya Movement, its achievements and the importance in nation building.
