Mazdoor Dastkar Union to fight for labour class

JAMMU, Feb 18: All J&K Mazdoor Dastkar Union today said that it has vigorously taken up the issue of labour class with administration for immediate redressal of all genuine issues of labourers and poor people.
The Union has also appointed Deepak Sharma as its new district president Jammu.
During a day-long convention of the Union at village Jhallar in block Dansal, the State president of Union Jagdish Raj Pahalwan said they have decided to take up all issues of violations of rights of labour class with the administration vigorously so that labour class gets justice.
He expressed serious concern over the problems being faced by the labour class across the State and it was the high time for labourers to get united for a decisive battle.
He also demanded BPL ration card to the family of every labourer, special scholarship to the children of all Mazdoors, free education to their children and proper and free treatment to them and issuance of labour registration card from labour office within 15 days.
The newly appointed district president Deepak Sharma exuded full confidence in the policies and programmes of the Union and said he would work hard to mitigate the problems of the working class.
Prominent among those who attended the convention included Mohammad Ashraf, vice president of Union, Shashi Kumar, general secretary and Jugal Kishore, district president Reasi.
