NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary.
“I bow to the epitome of courage and bravery and the pride of India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Shivaji Jayanti,” Mr Modi said in a message.
“Shivaji Maharaj shone on the battle field and also left a mark in administration. He had touched several lives through his good governance,” the Prime Minister observed. “Chhatrapati Shivaji inspires us greatly,” he added. (AGENCIES)
